Prescott Bush Western Union Telegram to Don Moe
This lot has a telegram from the United States Golf Association informing Don Moe that he has been selected to be a member of the 1930 U.S. Walker Cup team to be captained by Bobby Jones. The great Jones may well have seen Moe when they were both participants in the 1929 U.S. Amateur at Pebble Beach newspaper article included from this event shows that Jones was the medalist in qualifying that year.
