Lot of Miscellaneaous Don Moe Related Items
Don Moe was a leading amateur golfer in the 1920's and 30's from Oregon. Moe was the Western Amateur Champion in 1929 and '31 along with a member of the 1930 & 32 U.S. Walker Cup teams. Newspaper articles, stock ticker showing scores of Bobby Jones and Moe from 1930 pale in comparison to marquee items in this lot which include Douglas Fairbanks Sr.(D-1939) fountain pen signed letter to Moe and a 1934 aviational Christmas card bearing the signature of Philip Sassoon (D-1939).
