Herbert Warren Wind Letter To Mrs. Moe




Herbert Warren Wind writing on his letterhead of the New Yorker a publication which the Hall of Fame golf writer compiled columns for throughout the majority of his life sends note to Mrs. Moe. She received this correspondence in regards to her husband, Don Moe, who was a leading amateur golfer in the 1920's and 30's from Oregon. Moe was the Western Amateur Champion in 1929 and '31 along with a member of the 1930 & 32 U.S. Walker Cup teams. Herbert Warren Wind who also wrote for Sports Illustrated in his career is best known for his 1958 phrase of Amen Corner and his 1957 penning with Ben Hogan of "Five Lessons:The Modern Fundamentals of Golf". Full name ink signature 'Herbert Warren Wind' closes out this letter to Mrs. Moe.
