1972 US Open Press Badge - Nicklaus Wins
Brightly colored press badge measuring 2 3/8 x 3" to cover Jack Nicklaus' 11th of 18 career major tiumphs. The 1972 U.S. Open was held at Pebble Beach Golf Links, and saw Nicklaus capture his third U.S. Open title, three strokes ahead of runner-up Bruce Crampton. When combined with his two U.S. Amateur wins, it was his 13th major, equaling Bobby Jones for most all-time. Badge no longer retains rear clasp, however would be ideal for framed display.
