1961 Arnold Palmer's 'Inside Golf' Game
Game is a 9-hole round of golf where each hole is laid out on a 20"x26" card. Players select their club and, using a standard deck of cards, draw one and consult a result chart. Using the result anda special ruler, players move their ball markers along the hole, icluding possibly slicing or hooking. All in all, the game simulates a real round of golf with simple gameplay and similar decisions of course management you would make on the course. This was an early example of Mark McCormick's marketing genius of presenting Arnold Palmer to the knew world of golf fans in the early 1960's.
