Pictured here is a framed painting by Linda Hartough. The 165 yard par 3 at Quaker Ridge Golf Club has a slightly elevated green protected by bunkers on all sides. Set in the background of the 9th green is the English Tudor Clubhouse constructed in 1923. Quaker Ridge was desigend in 1916 by one of the great golf architects, A.W. Tillinghast. The 1997 Walker Cup marks the first USGA event hosted at Quaker Ridge and the 75th anniversary of the Walker Cup. Linda Hartough was commissioned by Quaker Ridge Golf Club to create this magnificent painting of one of America's greatest golf holes. This particular painting is a limited edition of 30 artists proofs and this is one of them. The frame does have some blemishes. Frame size - 29 1/2" x 21 1/2". Print Size - 21 1/2" x 13 1/2".

Linda Hartough has become recognized as one of golf's leading artists. Her paintings are so realistic that some of her paintings look like photos. Linda Hartough is the only artist ever commissioned by the United States Golf Association and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews to do the annual, official paintings and prints for the U.S. Open and British Open Championships. In 1984, Augusta National Golf Club commissioned her to paint the famed 13th hole starting her golf landscape painting career. She has received international acclaim including Golf Digest's "Lifetime Achievement Award." Linda is also a Founding Trustee of the Academy of Golf Art, a professional society of golf artists established in 2004 to create an awareness and appreciation of golf art.
