Limited Edition Chick Evans Signed 'Senior Golf' Book
Over his long career which started in the 1910's, Chick Evans was one of the most recognized faces in American amateur golf. In 1916, he was the first amateur to win the U.S. Open and the U.S. Amateur in the same year. He followed this feat up with a second U.S. Amateur title in 1920. A member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, Evans was honored with a gala dinner on the occasion of his 70th birthday in 1960 in Chicago. At this event a special first edition of his book 'Senior Golf' was presented to attendees. We offer one of those issues which remains in near fine condition #352 of 1000. It has been penned in ink with a personalized signature by Chick Evans. With his Evans caddie scholarship program remaining so important to this day, Chick will long be recognized in the golf community for more then just his outstanding play at the turn of the century. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature from Evans, and their letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
