Jimmy Demaret Signed Book "My Partner Ben Hogan"
Inscribed "To my pal Gerald with best wishes". Also signed and inscribed by Toney Penna "One of the nicest guys I've ever met Gerald Rosenberger(msp?)"
'My Partner, Ben Hogan' by author Jimmy Demaret who himself is a three-time Masters champion comes illustrated by Murray Olderman with black and white photography. Demaret frequently teamed with his fellow Texan Ben Hogan in two man competitions. With this background to the degree anyone can, he tries, to give insight into the man. For those of you still looking for "Hogan's Secret" their is a chapter on Hogan's technique in this book. What takes this offering to another level of collectibles is the signature contained on the front end page from the author. Demaret is one of the most challenging of Masters champions autographs having passed away in 1983. The World Golf Hall of Fame player was the first three time Masters champion (1940,47,50). The added signature from Toney Penna, as well as personalizations from both make this a highly desirable item. The book is in excellent condition with only slight wear to the dust jacket, please refer to photographs.
