Jack Nicklaus & Tom Watson Signed 'Duel in the Sun' Matted Page
Tom Watson had Jack Nicklaus' number in the 1977 calendar year, following up a Masters Tournament victory over the Golden Bear by winning the 1977 Open Championship over Nicklaus in what is known as the 'Duel in the Sun.' Watson would win the tournament, held for the first time at Turnberry, by a single stroke in what some have called the greatest Major ever played. Nicklaus would win 18 major tournaments, spending more time in the major tournament winner's circle than any other golfer. Here is a Jack Nicklaus & Tom Watson Signed 'Duel in the Sun' Matted Page with black sharpie penmanship by both Nicklaus and Watson that would easily grade a 9.5/10. 11" x 14." James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

Place your bids now as this auction will end at 9:00pm ET Sunday, September 20th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
