Jack Nicklaus Signed September 12, 1960 Sports Illustrated Magazine
Jack Nicklaus left his signature in black marker on this September 1960 issue of Sports Illustrated, his first S.I. cover and the only time he appeared on the famed sports magazine cover as an amateur. The article on Nicklaus documents his amateur career to that point, with the author likening Nicklaus to another great amateur Bobby Jones. The magazine is in excellent complete condition. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authentication comes with this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval).
