Jack Nicklaus Signed Ltd Ed Open St. Andrews Farewell Print #3/5 - Framed
Jack Nicklaus is depicted waving to the St Andrews gallery in 2000 from the Swilken Bridge by artist Jose in pastels, with this print of extreme limited edition numbered 3/5 and presented to past PGA President William Mann as engraved on the below nameplate. In appreciation of Mann's service for the governing body, Nicklaus inked this work in black sharpie. The original was created with pastels, allowing a soft and relaxing composition while capturing both gradual color changes and detail. 41 1/2 x 33." James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot. A Letter of Provenance from Will Mann will accompany this lot.
Will Mann Collection - Past PGA President
The 31st PGA of America President (1999-2000), Will Mann, currently teaches PGA Golf Management at Coastal Carolina University imparting his knowledge and experience on the next generation of golfers. Mann served as a golf course superintendent, director golf and course owner after earning a bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University. Mann was a member of PGA's Policies and Procedures Committee, Membership Committee and Membership Steering Committee. It is our distinct honor to offer his collection that he has built through working with the PGA of America and having a successful career in golf.
