Jack Nicklaus Signed 1993 US Senior Open at Cherry Hills Hand-Written Scoreboard- Tournament Used in Victory

"The guy is the greatest putter under pressure of all time, bar none." This is what Tom Weiskopf was quoted as saying after Jack Nicklaus successfully two-putted from 35 feet away to close out the 1993 US Senior Open and claim the Senior Tour Major victory. The event was Nicklaus' final victory at a tournament put on by the USGA. This hand-scored and written scoreboard was displayed that weekend at Cherry Hills in Denver, Colorado, the tournament host. Using calligraphy and four different colored markers this long piece of heavy paper was used as a way for patrons and fans of the Golden Bear to follow along with Nicklaus' scoring as the tournament played out. Proud of his victory after a shoulder injury nearly ended his season, Nicklaus signed this official USGA produced individual scoreboard line featuring his 1993 residence in North Palm Beach, Florida and more importantly winning four day total number of 278.
