Jack Nicklaus Signed 1978 Open Championship at St. Andrews Ticket #1438

Jack Nicklaus won this third and final Open championship at the 1978 contest held at St. Andrews. The win by only two strokes marked the fifteenth of his eighteen Major championships. The victory also completed his third career grand slam. Defending champion Tom Watson was the 54 hole leader but couldn't hold on for the win, faltering back and finishing 6 strokes behind. Offered here is ticket #1438 to the tournament with Nicklaus' signature in blue ink on the back. His signature comes with JSA authenticity #R07589.
