Jack Nicklaus Signed 1972 PGA Championship at Oakland Hills Program
The Golden Bear Jack Nicklaus, Five-time PGA Championship winner in 1963, 1971, 1973, 1975 and 1980, carefully added his black sharpie signature on the top of this 1972 PGA Championship program cover that remains in fair to good condition with the slight overall surface wear that is to be expected. The Black Knight continued his trailblazing International career with his sixth major and 9th career PGA victory at the 1972 PGA Championship held at Oakland Hills. His performance at Oakland hills snapped the four-year major slump and reminded golf fans why Player belonged in the famed Big Three with Jack and Arnold Palmer. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
