Jack Nicklaus Signed 1966 Masters Spectator Guide

The Masters in the early 1960's belonged to Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus with this dynamic duo of golf alternating a hold on the Championship each other year (Palmer 1962,64 and Nicklaus 1963,65). Offered in this lot is a 4" x 6" near mint condition 1966 Masters Spectators Guide from the year Jack broke that cycle. The '66 Masters marked back-to-back years that Nicklaus captured the Championship. It was the first time in tournament history there was a repeat winner. Augusta National started the tradition of publishing a Spectator guide for Patrons to review and to help assist them in finding the best spots to watch the Tournament. These guides from the 60's are highly collectible as attendance was much lower, then in the 70's to the present. They are also packed with historical information from past Masters and a review on the players in the field. Jack Nicklaus has hand signed the cover with James Spence Authentication providing a letter of authenticity with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on September 27th with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
