Jack Nicklaus Signed 1959 US Amateur Championship Program - Broadmoor CC
A true collectible for years to come, this clean program from the 1959 US Amateur Championship is signed perfectly by Jack on the front cover. Easily attaining Near-Mint status over its lilly white pages and flawless cover, this U.S.G.A. produced publication was for the Championship of U.S. Amateur golf contested at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. At this event, 19-year-old Jack Nicklaus first realized 'that he may have a future in golf' when he defeated Charles Coe; 1 up, in the 36-hole final match for the Championship. Strong spine with all pages intact on this blazing beauty of a program. To this day, Jack still claims that this was the first of his 20 career Majors, not 18 as the media famously quotes, but to Nicklaus' chagrin the trend of the day is to not credit his two Amateur titles as Majors.
