1966 US Open Championship Contestant Pin - Jack Fleck

The 1966 U.S. Open marked the 11th of 13 Opens Jack Fleck would qualify for in his career, and featured the U.S.G.A's return to the Olympic Club for the first time since Fleck had won the 1955 Open at the same site. Offered here is his contestants badge comprised of metal measuring 1 1/2"x 1 1/2", and bearing his name in the players section on the front of this memento. The reverse of this badge, from the 1966 Championship won by Billy Casper on the Lakeside course, still carries it's original pin clasp in working fashion.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on September 28th with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
