1958 US Open Championship Contestant Pin

The 1958 U.S. Open marked the 6th of 13 Opens Jack Fleck would qualify for in his career. Offered here is his contestants badge comprised of metal measuring 1 1/8"x 1 1/4" with raised lettering on the facing side that includes "PLAYER", "1958" and "USGA". A circular blue enamel section, also appearing on the front of this extremely limited collectable, carries wording "OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP". The reverse of this badge, from the 1958 Championship won by Tommy Bolt at Southern Hills C.C., still carries it's original pin clasp in working fashion.
