1967 US Open Championship Contestant Pin - Jack Fleck

The 1967 U.S. Open marked the 12th of 13 Opens Jack Fleck would qualify for in his career. Offered here is his contestants badge comprised of metal measuring 1 1/2"x 1 1/2", and bearing his name in the players section on the front of this memento. The reverse of this badge, from the 1967 Championship won by Jack Nicklaus at Baltusrol Golf Club, still carries it's original pin clasp in working fashion. Nicklaus with a final round 65 recorded a Championship record low of 275 for the four rounds. The '67 Open also saw the last time that Ben Hogan would compete in a major.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on September 28th with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
