1957 US Open Contestants Pin - Jack Fleck


The 1957 U.S. Open marked the 5th of 13 Opens Jack Fleck would qualify for in his career. Offered here is his contestants badge comprised of metal measuring 1 1/8"x 1 1/4" with raised lettering on the facing side that includes "PLAYER", "1957" and "USGA". A circular maroon enamel section, also appearing on the front of this collectable is the wording "OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP". The reverse of this badge, from the 1957 Championship won by Dick Mayer at Inverness, still carries it's original pin clasp in working fashion.
