1950 PGA Championship Qualifier Pin - Jack Fleck

The 1950 PGA Championship presented its players a contestants identifying stick clasp pin 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" metal badge which was used to designate players in the field. Offered here is the one which Jack Fleck received in 1950. In his first PGA Championship attempt, Fleck did not advance to the 64 player match play field which would eventually be won by Chandler Harper at Scioto C.C. in Columbus, Ohio. One of only 128 crafted for players in the event, this example retains its blue and gold enamel luster from the day Fleck received his 1950 contestants pin.
