Horton Smith Signed and Dated 1935 Oak Park Scorecard

The first champion of the Augusta National Invitational Tournament in 1934, Smith passed away in 1963. One of the most difficult signatures for Masters champion autograph collectors to obtain is Horton Smith. Presented here is a prime offering of his stylish autograph on an Oak Park scorecard. During this time period Smith served as club pro at the Chicago area club, and later in life Horton served as president of the PGA. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this vintage example of Horton Smith's signature signed in 1935, squarely between his two Masters championships in 1934 and '36.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on April 12th with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
