Herman Keiser Signed 1947 Ryder Cup Team Nomination Acceptance Letter

"I have looked forward to this all my life," Herman Keiser wrote to Ed Dudley of the PGA in response to being chosen for the 1947 Ryder Cup team. Short, but sweet, Keiser added that his choice for playing captain would be Jimmy Demaret. Below the letter on Firestone Country Club letterhead is one of the finest examples of 1946 Masters champion Herman Keiser's signature, grading a 10 out of 10. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authentication comes with this lot. A letter of from PGA Historian Bob Denney will accompany this lot.
