Harry Vardon 1927 WA&AC Churchman Famous Golfers Card

Offered here is the 1927 W. A. & A. C. Churchman Famous Golfers card commemorating Harry Vardon. The card comes PSA/DNA slabbed #25689630 in excellent condition. Harry Vardon won the Open Championship a record six times (1896, 1898, 1899, 1903, 1911, 1914) and was the 1900 U.S. Open champion. He, James Braid, and John Henry Taylor formed the 'Great Triumvirate' of the three renowned British golfers at the turn of the century. The three Englishmen combined to win the Open Championship 16 out of 21 times spanning from 1894-1914.
