Gary Player Signed 1961 Masters SERIES Badge #6123 with Original Pin
The 1961 Badge is the first year that the Masters produced plastic badges for their patrons switching from paper badges which Augusta National Golf Club had employed since the origin of the event in 1934. This is always a hot badge and the place which many collectors decide to start their run of Masters admissions, even without it being signed. Please don't miss out as this one is signed by champion and career Grand Slam member Gary Player in flawless bold, black sharpie! Badge is free from cracks, and please note that it has a light ink notation of the original owner on the reverse that does not affect the piece's presentation. A true lynch pin in the completion of what is the number one collected item for accumulating among ardent and casual Masters patrons alike. The 1961 Masters Tournament was contested from April 6 to April 10 at Augusta National Golf Club. It was the 25th Masters Tournament. Gary Player held off Arnold Palmer and amateur Charles Coe to become the Masters first international champion.
