Early 1930s Augusta National GC Photo of Hole #10 (Now) Construction Grounds
This incredible picture features a shot of architects with a pine tree making plans for Augusta National Golf Club. This image has been stored in the files of the original Augusta National Golf Club's engineer Wendell P. Miller's family for over 85 years until it surfaced for the first time in 2019. It cries out for ownership by the finest photo libraries known with a dedication to Bobby Jones, Augusta National Golf Club or golf history as an emphasis. Its reverse has pencil labeling of the picture subjects. Crystal clear 7 3/4 x 9 3/4 image free from chipping, with slight surface wear. Letter of provenance from the family of Wendell P. Miller comes with this lot.
