Dial O'Hare Green Stein with Lid
No chips or blemishes. Great condition. This stein has the attractive green found on most Lenox golf items. O'Hara Dial Co. was primarily a watch dial manufacturer from 1890-1912 in Waltham, Mass. But also manufactured the inlay lids found on steins bearing their mark. The Ceramic Art Company(Lenox) was commissioned to produce the bodies of the steins, complete with pewter lids into which O'Hara Dial Co. stamp seen on the bottom and distributed by O'Hara Dial, so customers generally believed the company was manufacturing the stein, not just the inlay. The inclusion Paris, France on the mark refers to the French location through which O'Hara Dial distributed to Europe and Japan.
This porcelain with inlaid lid hand painted was made by Ceramic Art Company(Lenox) for O'Hara Dial Co. in the early 1900s.
Stands 5 1/2" tall, bottom diameter is 4" while the top is 3 1/8"
