Craig Wood & Byron Nelson Signed Original Photo of the Three to Rod Munday
Craig Wood and Byron Nelson dual signed this mid swing photo with personal messages to Rod Monday. They are seen playing a round with their good friend Rod Munday at a time period exhibition match. The genuine respect and appreciation for each other is very apparent in this photo. They not only won US Open championships in close proximity to each other, but back-to-back Masters Tournaments in 1941 and 1942. Craig Wood remains one of the top two most difficult former Masters champion signature to obtain, heightening its value and appeal on this piece are the many contributing factors. Rod Munday was well respected and liked in the professional golfing community and this photo's inscriptions are further evidence of this. 8" by 10" and in very good condition. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
