Craig Wood, Jimmy Demaret, Byron Nelson, & Jug McSpaden Signed Photo
In 1943 admist the war the PGA only managed to hold 4 tournaments that year, one of which being the Golden Valley 4 Ball Tournament. Held at Golden Valley Country club in Minneapolis, MN Craid Wood and Jimmy Demaret teamed up to win the tournament. This black and white photo also features Byron Nelson and Jug McSpaden. All four golfers layed their signature on themselves in this photo:
Craig Wood was a 2 time Major winner, but also the first player to lose all four Major championships in extra holes. His early passing in 1968 makes his a highly sought-after autograph for collectors
Jimmy Demaret was a three time Masters champion in 1940, 1947, and 1950
Jug McSpaden had 17 PGA Tour wins and was one half of the "Gold Dust Twins" who dominated World War II era as a twosome
Byron Nelson was a 5 time Major winner and the other half of the "Gold Dust Twins"
Wally Mund the announcer for the tournament, also the Midland Hills PGA Head Professional

The photo presents in excellent condition and will definitely catch the eye of serious collectors. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed each of these four autographs, and their full letter of authenticity will come with this lot #Z25271. Lt. Colonel James Wilson autograph is deemed inconclusive.
