This large pencil signature comes on its own album page removed from a book of 1930's and 40's golfers. As more and more collectors enter the marketplace the number of forgeries of Woods and other Masters champions signature have escalated. In light of this The Golf Auction makes every attempt to have it's autographs reviewed in advance by known third party authenticators (in this case James Spence Authentication JSA), and does not rely on gut calls and promises that autographs will pass authentication. Woods remains one of the most valuable Masters champs signature due to his early passing in 1968 at 66 years of age. Making him the SECOND Masters champ to pass away following Horton Smith's death in 1963.
