Copeland Spode Pitcher- Golfer and Caddy
This lovely vintage Copeland Spode pitcher in pattern #K931 was manufactured by Spode China Company of England. It is done in light sage green with an ivory white embossed slip decoration featuring an a golfer attempting a golf shot with a caddie looking on. Opposite this scene is just the caddie with a bag of clubs under his arms. The figural handle has a twisted design at it's base to resemble a rope. This pitcher stands approximately 7" tall and 4 1/4" in diameter. It is marked on the bottom "Copeland Spode England" and also has the pattern number of K931 impressed in it. It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks.
