Classic Senate Beer Hole-In-One 'Remembered Pleasure' Golf Advertising Sign - Framed
Senate Beer was the best selling beer in Washington D. C. in the early 1900's, and even made a come back after prohibition was repealed in 1933. The brewing company, Christian Heurich Brewing, shut down in 1956, knowing that the government would seek to use the land in the increasingly crowded D. C. area. All of the breweries buildings were torn down in 1961. Offered here is a classic Senate Beer advertising sign, featuring a "Hole-In-One" trophy and golf club. There are a couple of spots of color loss, please see photographs. The framed piece measures 14" x 32 1/4".
