Presented in this lot is a circa 1894 R. Brougham Patent golf club that features a wooden insert for its face, burrowed into the aluminum head. The club offers the golfer opportunities to adjust the head's weight, with different concave locations to add lead in. this offering is a stunning club, with an uncommon contrast in style, texture and color. This club is an example that is in good condition, with a legible head stamp and no major blemishes. It appears to have replacement screw used in the heel. It measures 42" from the top of the grip to the bottom of the heel.
