Circa 1890's Anderson & Blyth Long Nosed Putter with Spliced Shaft
James Anderson and David Blyth set out to form their own clubmaking company in the late 1800's/early 1900's. Anderson was a club professional and the son of three time Open Champion Jamie Anderson, and David Blyth worked for Forgan and Sons. The company went bankrupt in 1915, Blyth having died in 1913. Presented here for bidders is a long nosed putter by Anderson & Blyth in good condition. The head shows some wear from play, with nick marks present. This putter measures 33" from end to heel and will display very nicely.
