Circa 1880's George Forrester Long Nose Spoon
Here is a Circa 1880's George Forrester Long Nose Spoon. A deep 'Forrester' crown stamp was stamped by the clubmaker. The ram's horn insert in the sole has been well preserved. Lambskin grip shows some wear. The 140 year old club is in good to very good condition and appears to be all original. Leather weight is snug in the head cavity. An excellent example of a pre-1900's long nose club. 44" to the heel
