Circa 1800's Heart Shaped Cast Iron #14 Hole Marker - Par 3 - Seldom Seen

Back in an era during which golf clubs had hickory shafts, and all kinds of weird contraptions were being tried. Flags on the pin marking the hole were not yet standardized or even invented. Pin markers were used and they came in a variety of shapes and configurations. Presented here is a circa 1800's cast iron heart shaped hole marker. It notes the #14 hole as well as it being a Par 3

33 1/2" tall and 9" wide heart that is attached to the iron pole.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, JULY 31st with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
