Burke "Sav-A-Shot" GSP Putter with Thumb Groove Grip

William Burke had managed MacGregor's clubmaking for nearly 15 years before branching out on his own in 1910. By the late 1920's and early 1930's they were mass-producing affordable store-brand clubs, particularly the Columbia range. It is easy to overlook the quality and innovation they produced, but the fact that Jock Hutchison used their clubs, and Harry Vardon later gave them his endorsement, speaks volumes. Offered here is the Burke "Sav-A-Shot" putter in good condition. It measures 32" to the heel and features a thumb groove grip.

Please note: This auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, June 17th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow.
