Bobby Jones In “How I Play Golf” Movie Pamphlet

This is a scarce pamphlet that was handed out in movie theaters to promote the series of films Bobby Jones did for Warner Bros. The idea was for the moviegoer to obtain one of these every two weeks. They contain the actual dialogue between Bobby Jones and the actor with whom he was giving a lesson. In this case it was for Episode Three “The Niblick”. With actor Huntley Gordon. The lesson Jones gives is how to hit a bunker shot from both a clean and buried lie. The front of the pamphlet then promotes episode 4 “The Mashie Niblick” which was to be the next film shown at the theatre. By obtaining all of these dialogue pamphlets over time the movie goer ended up with a complete set of lessons by Bobby Jones. These pamphlets are among the rarest Bobby Jones collectibles because not many of them have survived and hence are highly sought after
