Bobby Jones 1976 Wire Photo of Jones Playing in 1941 Masters Tournament

This offering is for a wire photo of post swing Bobby Jones in the 1941 Masters Tournament, in which he started seven years prior. Despite playing in each Masters tournament contest until 1948 he never finished higher than a tie for 13th in 1934. Jones announced that he would retire after his grand slam in 1930, to only play his own annual tournament after that. This photo is from the Houston Chronicle and contains a caption on the front and reverse.
