Bob Hope's 'Confessions of a Hooker: My Lifelong Love Affair with Golf' Book
Bob Hope was an acclaimed comedian, vaudevillian, actor, singer, dancer, athlete, and author. In his leisure time Hope was an avid golfer, playing in as many as 150 charity tournaments a year. So much in fact that he was inducted to the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1983. Introduced to the game in the 1930's while performing in Winnipeg he eventually played to a four handicap. His love for the game—and the humor he could find in it—made him a sought-after foursome member. "Confessions of a Hooker: My Lifelong Love Affair with Golf" is full of stories and anecdotes from very colorful world of Bob Hope.
