Ben Hogan Signed 1948 Book 'Power Golf'
Copyright 1948, A.S. Barnes & Company.The 1948 tutorial on golf by Ben Hogan was highly acclaimed. A classic just like the player himself whose nine career professional major championships tie him (with Gary Player) for fourth all-time, trailing only Jack Nicklaus (18), Tiger Woods (14) and Walter Hagen (11). Furthermore, he is one of only five golfers to have won all four major championships currently open to professionals (the Masters Tournament, the British Open, the U.S. Open, and the PGA Championship), the other four being Nicklaus, Woods, Player, and Gene Sarazen. This book remains in strong near mint condition sans dust jacket. The ever precise Hogan was just that in forming his signature placed with black sharpie inside this work.
