Ben Hogan Signed 1953 US Open Championship at Oakmont CC Program
Offered here is a program from the 1953 US Open at Oakmont with a signature from the champion Ben Hogan on the cover. Hogan got off to a fast start, shooting a 67 in the first round and was the wire-to-wire leader of the tournament. Hogan shot a 72 in the second round and went on to win by six strokes over Sam Snead and the field. The program offered here comes in good condition, showing some wear to the cover. Hogan's signature in blue ink shines on the front.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
