Avon Combination Tee with 3 Heights - English Manufacturer
Here we have a vintage combination tee made by Avon. This would add nicely to any antique ball or club collection.
**THE LEE CRIST "MR. TEE" COLLECTION**
Since joining The Golf Collectors Society in 1987, Lee Crist has made his montra with the golf tee. And what a display it has been encompassing a plethora of different composites, shapes, colors and manufacturers. The Crist collection includes the earliest and most desired implements for 'teeing up" a golf ball which are known as sand molds, the precursors to the modern wood or plastic staples in today's game. The Golf Auction is honored to have spent some time in Lee's home learning the nuances of golf tee collecting from the hobbies ultimate expert. We are pleased to offer some of his favorite golf treasures in this auction.
