Augusta National Golf Club Member Gift - Arnold Palmer's 1964 Scrapbook In Tribute To 4th Masters Win
This marks the first time The Golf Auction has had a copy of the Arnold Palmer limited edition 17" x 14" black & white chronicle of his 1964 Master's Invitational victory which was produced by the Augusta National and gifted to its membership and select other V.I.P.
It covers all the events at the 1964 Masters. The book over its 40 pages presents the 1964 Champions Dinner, the 1964 Amateur Dinner and a look at Arnie's Gallery (18th Fairway). Also featured are newspaper articles from the many countries that covered The Masters in 1964. This deluxe review of Arnie's fourth Masters championship comes illustrated from photographs and provides score cards of the accomplishment.
Crafted in padded green leather it comes cover stamped with the dignitary who received this special presentation binding, in this case Thomas B. Brafford. Does contain a inside penning from Brafford to fortunate son-in-law who was gifted this book long ago. One of the more challenging Palmer collectibles to be found in any condition, this one still presents in near mint fashion from cover to cover.
