Arnold Palmer Signed Personal Used Tournament Golf Ball

Shown here is an autographed golf ball in black sharpie by Arnold Palmer. The Callaway ball bears Arnies trademark Travelers umbrella, his personalized logo from the factory. It also bares the sharpie markings which Palmer used on his match played golf balls. This ball was played by Palmer at the 2007 Wendy's Champions Skins Game held at Wailea.

With Arnold Palmer’s 10-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole, all four teams earned paychecks at the Wendy’s Champions SKINS GAME. It marked the first time all four players/teams reached the scoreboard since 2000 and the first time Palmer reached the money board since 2004, when he earned five skins and $90,000. For the 16th time in the 20-year history of the Wendy’s Champions SKINS GAME, the players needed extra holes to decide matters. This edition went to the second playoff hole – the par-3 16th, where Arnold Palmer drained his second birdie putt in a little more than an hour.

Arnold Palmer is generally regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of men's professional golf. He has won numerous events on both the PGA Tour and Champions Tour, dating back to 1955. Nicknamed "The King," he is one of golf's most popular stars and its most important trailblazer, because he was the first superstar of the sport's television age, which began in the 1950s.
