Arnold Palmer Signed Ltd Ed "Return of the King" by Artist Mike Heslop #5/17

Canadian artist Mike Heslop Commemorated Arnold Palmer's first victory by painting "Return of the King," a flawlessly executed depiction of a young Arnold Palmer elated and with his arms wrapped around the 1955 Canadian Open trophy. This tournament would be the first of Palmer's 62 PGA Tour victories and three years prior to the 1958 Masters Tournament, his first major win. Mike Heslop captured the moment at Weston Golf and Country Club by using great detail and variety of colors. This is the Artist's proof limited edition that is hand numbered 5/17 and signed by The King himself with a sizable signature in gold marker on the left side.

With a high presentation value, this canvas is professionally framed and matted with the piece's title "Return of the King" and tournament information on the nameplate below the picture. The Canadian Open had a first row seat to watch history play out ten years prior, as it tallied the 11th and final win of Byron Nelson's 11 in a row streak. The picture is 19 1/2 x 23 1/2, with the frame coming out to 29 x 33. The photo of Arnold Palmer signing the canvases in his office is for a reference purposes and does not come with the canvas.
