Arnold Palmer Signed January 9, 1960 Sports Illustrated Magazine
Arnold Palmer, golf bag in hand, is depicted on this cover of Sports Illustrated from January 9, 1961. Palmer was named the magazine's Sportsman of the Year, and it could be easily said that he was the sportsman of a lifetime. His dedication not just to the sport, but also his philanthropic endeavors make it very clear he will be sorely missed. Arnie left his signature on the cover of this magazine in black marker. This will add nicely to any collection, showing just slight signs of wear.
