Arnold Palmer Signed Hand Painted Pebble Beach #7 Historic Hole on Canvas
Arnold Palmer will never be forgotten for all he did for the game he loved so much nor for the work he did for his community. Arnie created this canvas himself to be auctioned off to support the Latrobe Art Center. Palmer recreated here the incredibly picturesque 7th hole at Pebble Beach. Forever linked to Pebble Beach, Arnie put his own touch on Pebble Beach the same way he did with this one of a kind canvas painting. Arnie played the Bing Crosby Pro-Am 20 times, including 14 straight, finishing in second place twice. That did not diminish the love he had for Pebble Beach. In 1999, Palmer was instrumental in helping to secure the purchase of Pebble Beach from the previous owners. His eye for course detail also found him re-designing several holes, including the 14th and 17th, using photographs of the course from 1918 to bring back the original appeal. Arnie aslo served on the board of directors and helped in the advertising and retail aspect of Pebble Beach until his death. A one of a kind art piece from the hand of Arnie is presented to you now, signed by the King himself.
A full letter of authenticity from JSA #Z25680 accompanies this Palmer one of a kind item
The canvas measures 9 1/4" x 11 1/8" and is also signed and titled by the King in the bottom left corner
