Arnold Palmer Signed 1958 Masters Spectator Guide - Arnie's First Masters Win
The yearly spectator guide is produced and issued by the Augusta National. This highly collectible publication offers detailed descriptions of each of the courses holes. Detailed history of past Masters championships and review of each of the contestants in that year's field. The spectator guide falls only behind badges in the hierarchy of yearly items to be saved and collected from the Masters. This memento from Arnold Palmer's first Major win remains in excellent condition with strong traditional staple spine intact. Mentioned for accuracy, not as an implication that this '58 spec guide is in inferior condition, it does show some minor discoloration on the back cover, and very slight rust marks from the staples in the spine. The Golf Auction has previously had a similar example of this prized publication (with the 3 previously sold selling between $448-724), but this marks the FIRST TIME we have offered a signed edition by the champion of the '58 event. Palmer's signature appears well inked and centered to perfection on this cover, at least a 9.5 in strength.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature from Arnold, and their authenticity paperwork will come with this lot.
