2009 Masters Silver Commemorative Coin - #334/500

The Masters commemorative coin features detailed graphics. The coins which are only offered in the Augusta National Masters gift shops feature a different element of the course. The 2009 coin was geared around the 12th hole, Golden Bell.

A note written by Bobby Jones is printed on the card, it reads: "The championship location for the pin here is in the shallow area of the green on the right. Here the distance must be gauged accurately, and wind sweeping down Rae's Creek is often deceptive to the player standing on the tee about to hit. The inclination here is to be well up, or at least to favor the left side where the green is somewhat wider. Once the tee shot has been played in the creek, the short pitch to the shallow green is terrifying indeed." This coin is number 334 of the popular yearly produced collectible.

The Golf Auction's Exclusive July Auction will end on July 20th, 2014 at 7:00pm EST with extended bidding to follow.

Please note: The British Open Week Auction Extended Bidding rules have changed. In this auction, extended bidding will continue after 7:00pm EST on July 20th until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
